Birthdate:Jul 28
Location:Brecon Beacons, Wales, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Moving to a small town in the Brecon Beacons, Jo was greeted by headlines in the Brecon and Radnor Gazette proclaiming the arrest of a cannibalistic family down near Sennybridge*, and decided to stay regardless. This decision was questioned, when out one evening walking below Twmpa** she ran into a group of sightseers from Cor Caroli in the Canes Venatici system, trying to find their way to Y Gelli***. Despite the rather frou frou blue fronds on view, Jo did her duty, (after all tourism makes up a large part of the Powys economy) and was given, as thanks, a large, glowing blue egg sculpture thingy.

Said large, glowing, blue egg sculpture thingy was found to be emitting a distinct, albeit harmless, form of radiation, which was how she came to the attention of Torchwood.

Since then she has spent her time playing guide to visiting Aliens landing near the Twmpa standing stone, keeping an eye on the resident Aliens and dealing with the infrequent arrivals through the minute rift‡ within her jurisdiction.

Based out of the Pele Tower, Talgarth, (The Brecon Beacons Hub is hidden behind a real Tourist Information office, thank you very much) Jo drinks redbush tea, drives a Land Rover Defender, and can be heard muttering about ostentatious Range Rovers whenever anyone from Torchwood Cardiff visits.^

* This is the village that produced Rhydian. It was only to be expected.
** Jack loves the English name. Lord Herefords Knob.
*** English name Hay-on-Wye. Renowned by most of the world for it's bookshops, literature festive and large number of eccentric residents and renowned by the rest of the world for it's large number of alien residents† and it's popularity as a tourist trap for said aliens friends and families.
† We're not talking about the English here.
‡ The rift is on the first floor of an abandoned Psychiatric Hospital, which is sadly beloved of Urban Decay Photographers, many of whom get a lot more than they bargained for when setting up the framing of their artist black and white commentary on the modern attitude to mental health.
^ It's not a proper Land Rover until it's had sheep living in it. Jo bought hers second hand from a farmer. She maintains the smell is an effective deterrent against the less friendly visitors through the rift.

Interests (5):
